| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing the dynastic emblems of the four historic Armenian kingdoms, surmounted by a double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread. The shield is supported by a lion rampant to the left and an eagle to the right, with a sword, a sheaf, a chain, and an anchor arranged at the base.
