Obverse description The obverse is printed primarily in brown and red tones on a light ground, with an elaborate floral and geometric guilloche border framing the entire note. A large octagonal blank panel occupies the left half, surrounded by intricate arabesque underprint. The denomination عشر ليرات (Ten Livres) is inscribed in large Arabic script at centre, with the issuer's name in Arabic above and the date 1930 in Arabic numerals below, flanked by two manuscript signatures.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in green, brown and orange tones, with a dense floral guilloche border running the full perimeter. The issuer's name BANQUE DE SYRIE ET DU GRAND-LIBAN and the title DIX LIVRES are inscribed in French lettering across the top and bottom of the central panel respectively.
