| Obverse description | At center, within a raised heptagonal (seven-sided) inner frame set against the coin's field, a highly detailed depiction of an ornate Dutch Hanukkah lamp (chanukiah) of the type associated with 18th-century Holland. The lamp features elaborate filigree-style ornamentation, a prominent heart motif at center flanked by two standing figures, and decorative pierced panels across the top and sides, with eight oil font receptacles along the base. Two Hebrew lines of inscription appear in the lower field below the heptagonal frame, reading 'חנוכיה מהולנד' (Hanukkah lamp from Holland) above the Hebrew year 'ה'תשל"ו'. |
