| 背面描述 | A highly detailed, naturalistically rendered honey bee occupies the majority of the reverse field, depicted in a three-quarter dorsal view with wings spread and legs extended, conveying a sense of dynamic movement. The abbreviation F A O is distributed across the upper field, with the letters flanking the bee's body, referencing the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The denomination L. 10 is inscribed in the lower right field. The engravers' names MINGUZZI MONASSI INC. appear along the lower left periphery in small incuse lettering. The composition reflects the FAO series theme of promoting agricultural awareness through coinage. |

San Marino joined the FAO "Food for All" coinage program in the early 1970s alongside dozens of other nations, each issuing specially designated pieces to promote agricultural development awareness. The program produced an enormous volume of low-denomination coins globally, which paradoxically makes country-specific issues easy to overlook. San Marino's participation was partly a function of its longstanding policy of issuing collectible annual series — the republic had little practical need for circulation coinage given its size, so FAO designations served a philatelic and numismatic market as much as any humanitarian one.
