正面描述 The face is printed in purple and olive tones, with an ornate guilloche border framing the central text panel in Ottoman Arabic script, flanked by two oval vignette frames — the left one blank and the right one containing an intaglio vignette of a grey wolf. The denomination '10' appears in both Eastern Arabic and Western numerals at the corners, with the inscription 'LIVRES TURQUES' in letterpress below the central panel. 'Série 3' is printed in the upper and lower margins, with the serial number in purple at top right and bottom left.

备注

Turkey's earliest republican banknotes were issued under the Law of 30 Kanunuevvel 1341 (1925), and the series to which this note belongs represents the new government's deliberate break from the Ottoman paper money system, which had become synonymous with wartime inflation and collapse. De La Rue in London handled the printing — a common arrangement for newly established states that lacked domestic intaglio facilities.

The 1927 date places this note in the transitional period before Turkey established its own central bank, the Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası, which did not open until 1930. Notes of this series circulated alongside remnants of the old Ottoman issues during that interval.
