Reverse description The reverse is printed in purple and olive, with an elaborate guilloche border and two large blank oval frames at left and right. The central vignette presents an intaglio landscape view of the Citadel of Ankara perched on rocky cliffs, with a stone bridge, trees, and a flock of sheep in the foreground. The denomination '10 LIVRES TURQUES' is inscribed at lower left, with Ottoman script at upper center and lower right, and the printer's imprint 'THOMAS DE LA RUE & COMPANY LIMITED LONDON' in small lettering at the bottom margin.
