Opmerkingen

The Denarni Zavod Slovenije was a wartime provisional institution, established by the Liberation Front to assert administrative and fiscal control over Slovenian partisan-held territory. These notes were produced not in Slovenia but in Belgrade, at the ZIN press — a practical concession to what printing infrastructure was actually available to the Yugoslav resistance by 1944.

The "second issue" designation matters: earlier Slovenian partisan currency suffered from crude production and easier forgery. This series represented a deliberate tightening of standards, even under occupation conditions.
