| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the People's Republic of Bulgaria is centrally positioned within the inner circle, flanked on either side by two Olympic torches with flames. The large numeral '10' appears prominently in the lower field, with the denomination legend 'ЛЕВА' to the right and the date '1984' to the left, both separated by raised dots. The inscription 'НАРОДНА РЕПУБЛИКА БЪЛГАРИЯ' arcs around the upper portion of the inner circle, while the notation 'ПРОБА II' appears at the lower right of the coat of arms, identifying this piece as Pattern II.
