Descrizione del dritto	At left, an intaglio vignette of a woman picking roses, derived from the engraving 'Rose Picking' by Felix Kanitz; the Bulgarian state coat of arms appears at right. The design is framed by fine guilloche borders and Cyrillic text inscriptions.

Descrizione del rovescio	The central vignette, set within an oval guilloche border, presents a shepherd tending a large flock of sheep beneath a broad tree, with a sheep-pen and rural buildings visible in the background. Denomination numerals '10' appear in each corner within ornate lathe-work medallions, and additional '10' counters are placed at top center and bottom center against an intricate dark blue guilloche underprint that covers the entire reverse.
