| 表面の説明 | The denomination '10 ЛЕВА' is prominently displayed in the upper field, below which appears a shield-shaped tablet bearing early Cyrillic letterforms, flanked on either side by olive branches. The circular legend 'НАРОДНА РЕПУБЛИКА' arcs along the upper periphery, while 'БЪЛГАРИЯ' arcs along the lower periphery, all rendered in Cyrillic script on a plain polished field. |

Bulgaria issued this piece in 1963 as part of a series marking the 1,100th anniversary of the creation of the Glagolitic script by Saints Cyril and Methodius — the missionary brothers whose 9th-century alphabet work in Moravia ultimately gave the Slavic world its written form. The timing placed the issue squarely within the Soviet-aligned cultural nationalism that characterized Bulgarian state promotion of pan-Slavic heritage during the Cold War period.
KM#67 was struck in limited numbers for collectors rather than circulation, and surviving examples typically show minimal contact marks as a result.
