Beschrijving voorzijde	The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) logo appears prominently above the denomination and a stylized architectural rendering of the first Bulgarian school building, executed in relief against a mirror-polished field. The face value '10 ЛЕВА' is inscribed centrally beneath the BNB emblem, with the issuing authority legend 'БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА' arcing along the upper periphery. The date '1879' referencing the founding of the BNB, along with the issue year '2023', appear in the lower portion of the design.

Aanvullende informatie	Nayden Gerov (1823–1900) was a Bulgarian scholar, diplomat, and lexicographer whose six-volume dictionary of the Bulgarian language — compiled over decades and published posthumously — remains one of the foundational works in Bulgarian linguistics. He also served as a Russian imperial consul in Plovdiv during the Ottoman period, a position that placed him at the intersection of Bulgarian national revival politics and Russian imperial ambition in the Balkans. The coin marks the bicentennial of his birth.
