Reverse description The reverse depicts a detailed architectural rendering of the main building of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), set prominently in the central field. Superimposed upon the building is the gold-plated institutional logo of the university, applied via selective gold plating to create a striking visual contrast against the frosted silver surface. The circumferential legend reads 'УНИВЕРСИТЕТ ЗА НАЦИОНАЛНО И СВЕТОВНО СТОПАНСТВО' (University of National and World Economy) along the upper arc, with '100 ГОДИНИ' (100 Years) inscribed along the lower arc, commemorating the centenary of the institution's founding.

Additional information

The University of National and World Economy in Sofia — founded in 1920 as the Free University for Political and Economic Sciences — was Bulgaria's first institution of higher economic education, established in the immediate aftermath of the country's defeat in World War I and the punishing Treaty of Neuilly. Partially gold-plated silver commemoratives of this type are struck by the Bulgarian Mint at Kazanlak in strictly limited runs, rarely exceeding a few thousand pieces.
