| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a detailed architectural rendering of the main building of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), set prominently in the central field. Superimposed upon the building is the gold-plated institutional logo of the university, applied via selective gold plating to create a striking visual contrast against the frosted silver surface. The circumferential legend reads 'УНИВЕРСИТЕТ ЗА НАЦИОНАЛНО И СВЕТОВНО СТОПАНСТВО' (University of National and World Economy) along the upper arc, with '100 ГОДИНИ' (100 Years) inscribed along the lower arc, commemorating the centenary of the institution's founding. |

The University of National and World Economy in Sofia — founded in 1920 as the Free University for Political and Economic Sciences — was Bulgaria's first institution of higher economic education, established in the immediate aftermath of the country's defeat in World War I and the punishing Treaty of Neuilly. Partially gold-plated silver commemoratives of this type are struck by the Bulgarian Mint at Kazanlak in strictly limited runs, rarely exceeding a few thousand pieces.
