Obverse description A large royal crown with a cross at its apex occupies the central field, rendered in fine detail with arched bands and pendants. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ (Kingdom of Greece) curves around the upper periphery. The date 1922 appears in the lower field beneath the crown, all elements set against a plain, unadorned field.
