Obverse description The obverse features the legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ (Kingdom of Greece) arranged in three lines across the field, flanking and surrounding the central circular hole. A royal crown in high relief is positioned to the right of the centre hole, its elaborate form clearly rendered with arches and jewelled band. The date 1912 appears in the lower exergual area below the hole. The entire design is contained within a beaded border running along the coin's rim.
