| Obverse description | Red and multicolour note with bilingual text in Albanian and Italian. The centre is dominated by a large Albanian double-headed eagle vignette as an underprint, with the numeral '10' printed in red on either side. The issuer name appears in two languages across the upper portion — 'BANKA KOMBËTARE E SHQIPNIS' at left and 'BANCA NAZIONALE D'ALBANIA' at right — flanked by ornamental guilloche borders.
