| Obverse description | The Moldovan state coat of arms occupies the upper central field, depicting a displayed eagle holding an olive branch in its dexter talon and a sceptre in its sinister talon, with a cross in its beak; the eagle's breast bears a shield charged with the traditional Moldovan symbols of an aurochs head, a star, a crescent, and a rosette.
