| 表面の説明 | Central effigy of Alexandru Ioan Cuza facing left in portrait bust, rendered in high relief against a plain field. Surrounding the portrait, an arc legend bears a quote from the founding law of the Court of Accounts in Romanian: "O Înaltă Curte de Compturi se institue la Bucuresci pentru tótă România". The Romanian coat of arms appears within the design, accompanied by the denomination "10 LEI". The coin's outer legends read "ROMANIA" and "ALEXANDRU IOAN CUZA" in Latin script. |

Issued to mark the 150th anniversary of Romania's Court of Accounts, the institution was established in 1864 under Alexandru Ioan Cuza as part of a sweeping modernization of the Romanian state modeled closely on French administrative structures. The Court's founding predates the National Bank itself by over a decade.
