| Reverse description | The centre field bears the denomination 10 LEI and the year of issue 2019. Around the circumference of the ring, all 26 letters of the modern Latin alphabet in lowercase are engraved, commemorating the transition of the Moldovan language from Cyrillic back to the Latin script. In the upper exergue, the monogram formed by the letters R and M (abbreviation of Republica Moldova) is rendered in latent image technology, alternately visible as the coin is tilted. A security feature consisting of three vertical micro-engravings of the legend BNM (Banca Națională a Moldovei) appears on the surface of the numeral 1 of the denomination. |
