| Obverse description | The brass-plated steel centre depicts two large tricolour flags of the Republic of Moldova displayed symmetrically, their poles crossing before a stylised monumental building rendered in an angular, architectural relief. The Moldovan state coat of arms — featuring the eagle displayed holding an olive branch and sceptre, with the traditional shield on its breast — is prominently positioned at the centre between the two flags. The circumferential nickel-plated steel ring bears the encircling commemorative legend in Latin script, reading '30 DE ANI DE LA ADOPTAREA TRICOLORULUI' along the upper arc and 'REPUBLICA MOLDOVA' along the lower arc, separated by decorative stops. |
