| Obverse description | An intaglio portrait vignette of a male industrial worker wearing a helmet with goggles occupies the left portion of the note, set within an oval guilloche frame. At centre right, the state arms of the Romanian People's Republic — a rising sun over forested mountains within a wreath of wheat, inscribed RPR — are rendered in fine engraving, surrounded by elaborate multicolour guilloche rosettes in green, pink, and blue. The denomination ZECE LEI appears in large letterpress text below centre, with the year 1952 beneath it, and an anti-counterfeiting notice in a ruled panel at lower right. |
