The Germisara votive plates are a set of gold and silver tablets discovered in the Mureș Valley region of Transylvania, associated with the Roman spa sanctuary at Germisara — modern Geoagiu-Băi. Dedicated primarily to the nymphs venerated at the thermal springs, they represent one of the more unusual categories of Roman religious deposit found in Dacia, where syncretism between local and Roman cult practice was pronounced after the province's establishment in 106 AD.

This coin belongs to Romania's ongoing "History of Gold" series, which draws specifically on archaeological gold objects held in Romanian collections. The Germisara plates were found in the nineteenth century under circumstances that scattered several pieces across European collections before systematic documentation occurred.
