Beschrijving voorzijde	The central axis is dominated by the bold numeral "10" flanked by two large circular guilloche medallions — the left incorporating the watermark area, the right bearing the signature panel and value inscriptions — with an eagle in flight above the central axis. At lower centre, a crowned coat of arms displaying the aurochs head and star is flanked by two intaglio allegorical vignettes of seated female figures accompanied by children, representing agriculture, industry, and commerce. The date "12 JUNIU 1877" and the engravers' credits appear in the lower margin.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Two large white circular guilloche medallions flank a central panel of legal text and value inscriptions, with the Romanian coat of arms positioned at lower centre. The central text block carries a penal warning citing Articles 112 and following of the Penal Code as the prescribed punishment for forgery or the unlawful issuance of notes in excess of the statutory limit. The engravers' credits are repeated in the lower margin.
