Beschrijving voorzijde	Portrait of General Aung San in an oval vignette at centre, printed in red-brown on a pink underprint with large numeral guilloché panels to either side. Burmese script legends run along the top border and vertically along the left margin, with the denomination numeral '10' repeated in the lower corners.
Opschrift voorzijde	ပြည်ထောင်စု မြန်မာ နိုင်ငံတော် ပြည်သူ့ ဘဏ်‌ တဆယ်ကျပ် (Translation: Union of Myanmar State People's Bank Ten Kyat)
Beschrijving keerzijde	A woman picking cotton occupies the right portion of the design within a large vignette, rendered in red-brown intaglio print. To the left, the state arms of Burma appear within an ornate cartouche. The inscription 'TEN KYATS' is set in large letters at lower centre, with 'PEOPLES BANK OF BURMA' along the bottom border panel.
