Aanvullende informatie

Malawi's wildlife coinage series from this period was largely export-driven — produced for the collector market rather than domestic circulation, with the Reserve Bank licensing designs through foreign minting intermediaries. The silver-plated copper-nickel composition is the tell: these were never intended to pass through Malawian hands as money.
