Reverse description The reverse bears multi-line Arabic calligraphic inscription in the central field, reading the mint name and regnal year in an elegant thuluth script. The text references the Constantinople mint (Kostantiniyye) and the Hijri accession year 1336. The inscription is framed within the same ornate foliate cartouche of interlocking crescent-shaped lobes as the obverse, punctuated by five-pointed stars throughout the border. A beaded inner border and plain outer rim complete the design.
