| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the ornate tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Mehmed V Reshad, rendered in flowing calligraphic style and occupying the majority of the design. The Arabic epithet 'Reshad' appears to the upper right of the tughra. Below the tughra, the regnal year numeral '3' and the Arabic word 'sene' (year) are inscribed. The entire central motif is framed within a decorative scalloped border formed by alternating crescent moons and five-pointed stars, all enclosed within a beaded outer rim. |
