Reverse description The reverse field presents a three-line Arabic inscription in bold calligraphy, identifying the mint and regnal year. The text reads, in succession, the phrase denoting the coin was struck at Constantinople (Kostantiniyye), followed by the Hijri accession year 1293. The inscription is set within the same characteristic scalloped lobed border found on the obverse, populated with stars and small rosettes, and the outer rim is uniformly reeded. The overall composition is symmetrical and typographically formal, consistent with late Ottoman silver coinage design conventions.
