| Obverse description | Centre vignette carries an intaglio portrait of Jakob Hurt (1839–1907), Estonian folklorist, theologian and linguist, set against a deep crimson guilloche underprint with wave-line patterns. The bank name EESTI PANK appears in the upper left, the date 1991 and the Eesti Pank circular seal with three heraldic lions are printed in the upper right margin, and the denomination numeral 10 with the word KROONI is rendered in large intaglio figures to the right of the portrait. Two facsimile signatures labelled PRESIDENT and NOUKOGU LIIGE appear in the lower centre, with the legend JAKOB HURT 1839–1907 below the portrait. |
