| Obverse description | The face is printed on a warm brown guilloche underprint, with the large numeral "10" in an ornate cartouche at upper left and the bank title "SVERIGES RIKSBANK" arcing in bold intaglio lettering across the top margin. The denomination "TIO KRONOR" is rendered in large intaglio characters at centre, flanked by the redemption text, while an allegorical vignette of Svea — a seated female figure in classical dress holding a shield — occupies the lower right. Two manuscript signatures run along the lower margin, with the date and serial number printed in red at upper right and lower left respectively. |

| Reverse description | The back is printed in black on white paper, centred on an oval vignette containing a finely engraved portrait of King Gustav Vasa in three-quarter view, clad in armour and a plumed hat, enclosed within an elaborate elliptical frame of dense guilloche lacework. The numeral "10" appears in large ornate form to both the left and right of the central medallion, with the bank name arcing across the upper portion of the oval surround. The entire composition is contained within a symmetrical border of intricate lathe-work engraving. |
