Opmerkingen

Skaraborgs Läns Enskilda Bank was one of several Swedish provincial enskilda banks operating under the 1824 and later 1846 banking acts, which permitted privately owned note-issuing institutions at the county level. These banks were gradually squeezed out following the Riksbank's push toward centralized note issuance, and Skaraborgs — headquartered in Skara — was among those that ceased independent operation before the turn of the century.

The 1888 date places this note in the bank's final years of active circulation, which likely kept surviving numbers low.
