| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is printed in brown tones and composed almost entirely of finely engraved guilloche lathe-work filling the entire surface. A central cartouche carries the Swedish state arms at its base, with the legend SVERIGES RIKSBANK in large bold letters across the middle of the design; a small crowned tablet bearing the same legend appears at the top centre within the border. |

Pick 9 belongs to the second Riksbank series to use lithographic printing domestically rather than contracting foreign security printers — a deliberate policy shift driven partly by national pride and partly by concern over sending sensitive plate designs abroad. The Riksbank had experimented with locally produced notes since the 1850s, but quality consistency remained a known problem, and some examples from this run show uneven ink saturation in the face printing.
The 1890 redemption law that eventually drove this type out of circulation also mandated the destruction of returned notes, which suppressed survival rates considerably. Examples with clear date inscriptions and intact signatures are genuinely uncommon.
