| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Margrethe II, diademed and wearing a pearl necklace, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair swept upward beneath the crown. The portrait is set within a raised inner circle, with the surrounding border carrying the legend in raised Latin characters. The circumferential inscription reads MARGRETHE II, separated by a heart ornament, followed by DANMARKS DRONNING, with the date 2005 positioned at the base.
