| Reverse description | The central field is divided diagonally into two contrasting zones: the left half features vertical bamboo-cage bars rendered in a satin finish, evoking the imprisoned nightingale from H. C. Andersen's fairy tale, while the right half displays a stylized silhouette of a nightingale perched upon a blossoming branch against a mirror-polished background. A small rectangular cartouche bearing Chinese characters for 'nightingale' (夜莺) appears at the upper division of the two zones. The circular legend 'H. C. ANDERSEN 1805-2005' arcs along the upper border, and the denomination '10 KRONER' is inscribed along the lower periphery. |
