| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Queen Margrethe II, wearing a pearl necklace and an elaborate upswept coiffure adorned with a diadem, engraved in a detailed portrait style by Mogens Møller. The effigy is set within a raised inner border, with the circular legend MARGRETHE II • DANMARKS DRONNING arcing around the upper periphery.
