Opmerkingen

Gerhard Heilmann was primarily known as an ornithologist — his 1926 book on the origin of birds remained a reference work for decades — which makes his prolific output as a banknote designer for Danmarks Nationalbank one of the stranger career footnotes in Danish cultural history. The "Type II" designation distinguishes this series from his earlier 10 Kroner design through modifications made before the 1930 print run began.

Four signature combinations are documented for this issue, all pairing Lange as the first signatory with four different countersignatories across the six-year print window. The Lange & Pugh pairing is notably less common than the others.
