Norway's P#36 10 Kroner ran for over a decade through two signature combinations, but the Wold & Ødegaard replacement notes — identified by the Q prefix — are the genuinely scarce pieces in the series. Replacement notes in Norwegian issues of this period were produced in limited quantities to substitute for defective sheets, and the Q-prefix examples consistently attract collector premiums well above the regular 1972 dates.

The series spanned the transition from Ødegaard to Sagård as co-signatory, with 1977 marking the changeover. Gap years in the Sagård signature run — notably 1980 — suggest either low demand or undocumented print runs that have yet to surface conclusively in census records.
