| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and dressed in period court attire, set within a wreath of two arching laurel branches tied at the base. The surrounding legend reads M THERESIA D G R in the left arc and IMP GE HU BO REG in the right arc, distributed around the periphery of the coin field. The portrait is rendered in a refined Baroque style characteristic of the mid-18th century Habsburg coinage. |
