Obverse description Square klippe flan struck with a full-length frontal figure of the enthroned archbishop Johann Jakob Khuen von Belasi, vested in pontifical robes and wearing a mitre, holding a crozier in his left hand. Beneath the figure is a quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of Salzburg and the personal arms of the archbishop. The circular Latin legend, reading IO IAC D G AR EPS SAL AP SE L 1583 S R, encircles the central device, with the mint marks S and R flanking the base of the shield.
