Aanvullende informatie

Württemberg became a kingdom on January 1, 1806, which makes this 1805 piece one of the final issues struck under Frederick II's electoral title before his elevation — Napoleon had effectively guaranteed the promotion at the Treaty of Pressburg signed in December 1805, so the upgrade was politically settled before the ink on these coins had barely dried. The kingdom's coinage system was subsequently reorganized, making the transitional electoral issues short-lived in production.
