| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Emperor Francis Joseph I, rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style. The truncation of the bust is sharply defined, with fine portrait details characteristic of the engraver Konrad Lange. The encircling legend reads FRANC·IOS·I·D·G·AVSTRIAE IMPERATOR, denoting the emperor's full title by the Grace of God. A mint workshop mark appears at the base of the truncation.
