Reverse description The reverse displays a crowned double-headed imperial eagle with wings spread, each head facing outward, bearing the Habsburg shield on its breast. The eagle holds a sword and sceptre in its talons. A small orb appears at the top between the two heads beneath the imperial crown. The surrounding legend, reading from the base, attributes the coin to the Holy Roman Emperor: IOSEPHUS II D.G. ROM. IMP. SEMP. AUG., identifying Joseph II as the reigning Emperor by divine grace.
