Obverse description The Augsburg pine cone (Pyr), the city's heraldic emblem, depicted as a stylized pinecone atop a classical columnar pedestal bearing the numeral '10' in the center panel, flanked by a laurel branch to the left and a palm branch to the right. Below the pedestal, the mintmaster's initials 'F·A·H' appear in the exergue. The circular legend reads: XX·ST·FINE·MARCK·1761· (with the year varying by issue), indicating the fineness standard of 20 Stück per fine mark. The overall composition is finely executed in high relief with baroque decorative detail.
