正面描述 Intaglio vignette to the right of two young girls in traditional Slovak folk dress, one wearing a headscarf and holding a bouquet of blossoms, set against a low-horizon underprint of an industrial landscape with mountains. The denomination "DESAŤ KORÚN" is rendered in large letterpress type at centre over a multicolour guilloche underprint in red and blue, with the issuing authority legend above. Serial number and prefix appear in red at left, flanked by a large zero watermark panel.

备注

This note belongs to the socialist-era redesign that followed Czechoslovakia's 1960 constitution, which formally renamed the state the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic — the entire banknote series was retooled to reflect the new political identity. Štátna Tlačiareň Cenín handled all domestic security printing for the series, cutting reliance on foreign printers that had been used for earlier postwar issues.

Mária Medvecká was a Slovak painter of some distinction, and her involvement in the design was a deliberate nod to Slovak cultural representation within what remained a federally unequal union. Ladislav Jirka and Bedřich Fojtášek divided engraving duties across the two faces — a split-engraver arrangement uncommon enough to be worth noting.
