Printed in blue-grey tones, the obverse carries the Slovak State coat of arms (double cross on three hills) at upper left and a large central denomination inscription DESAŤ / KORÚN SLOVENSKÝCH set within an ornate guilloche underprint. A portrait vignette of the Slovak national figure Ľudovít Štúr occupies the right panel, framed by fine geometric latticework, with his name and dates lettered at the base. The serial number is printed in red at top centre, with the series prefix at lower left, and the issuing authority text referencing Government Decree No. 120/1939 Sl. z. and date 20 July 1943 inscribed in smaller letterpress below the main title. |

The reverse is printed in rose-purple tones and dominated by a large numeral 10 at left centre set over a dense guilloche background, with a vignette of agricultural and craft implements — including a sheaf of wheat, a beehive, a basket, and tools — arranged at right centre. The denomination is repeated in four languages in separate panels: ZEHN Ks (German), DESAŤ KORUN SLOVENSKÝCH (Slovak), ДЕСЯТЬ Кs (Rusyn/Ukrainian), and TÍZ Ks (Hungarian). A continuous microtext border band running along all four edges repeats SLOVENSKA REPUBLIKA and DESAŤ KORUN SLOVENSKÝCH, with the full denomination KORUN SLOVENSKÝCH inscribed in large letterpress along the lower margin. |
