Ugocsai Világítási Részvénytársaság — the Ugocsa Lighting Company — was a provincial utilities firm in Nagyszőllős (now Vynohradiv, Ukraine), and its 1919 emergency scrip belongs to the chaotic interval when the Austro-Hungarian crown was collapsing and local institutions across the former kingdom were printing their own stopgap money to keep commerce moving.
