| Reverse description | Full-length standing figure of Emperor Francis Joseph I in Hungarian royal regalia, depicted facing forward and wearing an ornate mantle, decorated tunic, and hussar-style trousers. The Emperor holds the orb of sovereignty in his raised right hand and rests his left hand at his side near the hilt of a sword, conveying imperial authority. The circumferential legend FERENCZ JÓZSEF I.K.A.CS. ÉS M.H.S.D.O.AP.KIR. encircles the figure, reading from the lower left to the lower right along the beaded border. The date of issue appears in the exergue beneath the Emperor's feet. The engraving, executed by József Reisner, displays fine Neo-Renaissance detailing characteristic of Austro-Hungarian coinage of the period. |
