| Obverse description | Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed at center, each head crowned with a small imperial crown, the whole surmounted by a large imperial crown with cross finial. The eagle's wings are spread and bear heraldic shields on the breast and wings; the central breast shield displays the mounted St. George slaying the dragon. The mint mark letters 'M' and 'W' appear in the lower field to either side of the eagle's tail, denoting the Warsaw Mint. The design is contained within a finely beaded border. |
