| 备注 |
The 1961 Soviet monetary reform — enacted 1 January of that year — redenominated the ruble at a ratio of 10 old rubles to 1 new, effectively making this 10-kopeck note the functional equivalent of a pre-reform ruble. The reform was presented as a technical rationalization, but it also quietly wiped out black-market pricing structures that had accumulated over the post-war years.
Small Gosbank fractional notes of this series were printed in enormous quantities and circulated hard. Surviving uncirculated examples are genuinely common; heavily worn ones arguably tell a more honest story about Soviet daily commerce.
