| Obverse description | Brown-on-tan note with an intricate guilloche underprint throughout. The left two-thirds carry the large Gothic denomination legend "ZEHN KARBOWANEZ" above an issue clause in German, the place and date of issue "ROWNO, den 10. März 1942", the bank name "ZENTRALNOTENBANK UKRAINE", and a manuscript signature accompanied by an official circular stamp bearing the Nazi eagle.
