背面描述 Central field features a detailed depiction of Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle (Старий Замок — Old Castle), a renowned medieval fortress situated on a rocky peninsula in western Ukraine, showing its characteristic multi-towered silhouette and defensive walls rendered in relief. The castle is presented as the principal design element, occupying the majority of the field. The toponym 'КАМ'ЯНЕЦЬ-ПОДІЛЬСЬКИЙ' is inscribed along the upper portion of the field, with the descriptive legend 'СТАРИЙ ЗАМОК' (Old Castle) below, both in Cyrillic script. The composition reflects the architectural grandeur and historical significance of the fortress as a symbol of Ukrainian medieval heritage.

附加信息

The 10 hryvnia denomination coin was reissued in a karbovanets-branded format as part of Ukraine's broader wartime effort to maintain circulating coinage supply under conditions of severe economic strain following the 2022 Russian invasion. The karbovanets itself has a fraught history — it was Ukraine's transitional currency between 1992 and 1996, a period of catastrophic inflation that saw it effectively worthless before the hryvnia replaced it at a rate of 100,000 to 1.

The colorization was applied to the brass planchet at the Mint of Ukraine in Lugansk — now occupied territory — production having long since relocated to Kyiv.
